The Villa Filoreto is located on the outskirts of the village of Vižinada in Istria. Built in 2004 in the Istrian style, the villa has 4 spacious bedrooms for up to 8 people, each with their own modern bathroom/restroom, a balcony or terrace, air conditioning, TV and WiFi. The Villa Filoreto offers a breathtaking view of the Mirna valley and the picturesque mountain village of Motovun. The spacious and airconditioned living room comes with a fully equipped kitchen area, a TV and an open fireplace, which invites you to kick back and relax in the evenings. The beautifully designed outdoor area of the villa features a freshwater pool, deck chairs, a canopied terrace with seating area, and a large stone grill.

The Facilities | Apartments Filoreto

• Apartment 1: Main house first floor (2 People)
  Originally, this was the guest area of a Konoba. The original style of the tavern was retained during the renovation. Today it is the main living room with integrated kitchen – the heart of this apartment. One bedroom and an adjoining bathroom with shower can accommodate two people.
• Apartment 2: Main house second floor and attic (4 People)
  This apartment offers space for a total of four people. Two bedrooms, of which the master bedroom is an access room to the second room with two separate beds, an open kitchen, dining and living area and a bathroom with shower will grant for a relaxing holiday. The spacious terrace, from which you can have both, a fantastic sea view and the panorama of the surrounding landscape, is ideal for enjoying unforgettable sunsets.
• Apartment 3: Seperate Building (2 People)
  The third apartment is located at the back of the house in a separate building, which can be entered through the garden. It can accommodate two people and has an open dining and living area with integrated kitchen, a bedroom and a bathroom with shower.

The Location

Vižinada | Villa Filoreto

The small town of Vižinada is located in northwestern Istria, by the famous Parenzana.
Vižinada is home to abundant historical and cultural treasures, wineries and culinary delights. Off the beaten tourist path, here you’ll find all the amenities you need during your vacation. A local grocery store, a bar and a hairdresser are all found within walking distance from the villa. Wine lovers and fans of the Istrian cuisine get their money’s worth at the local restaurant (“Agroturizam”), located only a few minutes’ drive away. Larger towns with their beautiful beaches, like Poreč or Novigrad, can be reached by car in only 15 minutes.

The village of Vižinada also offers unique sights along the renovated Parenzana tracks, the former railway connecting Poreč and Trieste. 123 kilometers long, the route takes hikers and cyclists through lush forests, beautiful small towns, stone villages, hidden tunnels and solid viaducts. Marvel at the rich diversity of scenery and color to be found in this region.

The long-running recreational cycling marathon “Parenzana” is traditionally held on the last Sunday in September. Cyclists of all ages and skill-levels gather here. But it’s not the only race in the area—there are also professional hiking and mountain bike races.

Rogovici | Apartments Filoreto

The distance from the small village of Rogovici to the center of Tar is less than 3 km. The area´s infrastructure is highly developed, you reach Tar in just a few minutes by car. There you can find local suppliers, bars, cafes, restaurants, bakeries and supermarkets. The seaside and numerous beautiful beaches are awaiting you in a distance of 5km.
Around Rogovici several agritourism farms and wineries offer their local specialties and premium high-class Istrian wines.

Porec

Poreč is a tourist hotspot located on the western side of the largest of the Croatian Peninsulas, Istria. Poreč offers much more than just sea and sun. This town has 6000 years of history and is known for its culture, beautiful beaches and crystal-clear sea, for sporting events and numerous restaurants, cafés, bars and clubs.
There are several beaches surrounding Poreč. These are rocky or shingle beaches.
A short walk north from the town center will lead you to a dog-friendly beach (marked with a sign). The northern path continues to run along beaches and small bays, beach bars, a children’s playground and various sport facilities. You’ll find numerous beaches and bays on the southern side of town too. There is even a beach with a fun water slide, perfect for children!
